Amtrak to NYC

As someone who prefers to drive to New York (99% of the time) ... thought I'd try something different this time.  As I'm way too old to take the bus ... jumping on Amtrak for the journey was the new plan "a", with camera in hand.  Trips to NYC include spending time with my dad and shooting the remainder of the time with a few buddies.  This time, I was able "shoot my way" into Penn Station. All photos taken while in motion.

Gear used:  Leica M10, Summicron 28mm f/2.

Settings were primarily: aperture 5.6, ISO 1,600, zone focused.

Nostalgic for Havana

The moment we left Cuba ... I knew that I needed to return.  And now, all of a sudden (it seems), I'm feeling nostalgic, so here are a few more photos from back in April.  This should hold me over for a few days ... LOL!

Haymarket Saturday

Saturday mornings at Haymarket are always a great place for some street photography. Filtered light, moving shadows and lots of colorfull produce ... time passes and you don't even know it.

AfroPunk Fest Brooklyn

What a blast!  First time visiting Brooklyn, NYC during the annual AfroPunk festival and needless to say it was amazing.  Wish I had more time to roam and hang out after sunset ... but I had to head back to Boston.  Next year though.

Had a blast hanging out with my fellow RE/MAX Destiny crew at the RE/MAX R4 Convention in Vegas!  Everything else stayed in Vegas, but I got a few snaps out ;) …
